Abstract: The 12-Volume The Academic Course of Foreign Literature Studies in China with Chen Jianhua being the chief editor, jointly completed by a number of scholars, is the first Chinese monumental work of academic history that makes domestic studies as the main point, systematically sorting out and summarizing the foreign literature studies in China in the twentieth century, and greatly expanding the breadth and depth of the views of academic knowledge. It is relognized as a milestone in the field of the foreign liferature studies with important innovative academic value.
