Historical Development and Literary Representation: A Review of Post-WWII World History and the Development of Foreign Literature

Abstract: The four-volume scholarly book, Post-WWII World History and the Development of Foreign Literature, focuses on the relationship between historical development and literary representation since WWII and explores vital issues in postwar foreign literature. It addresses literature of Realism, Postmodern literature, globalization and literature in the new millennium, probes into the interplay between various societal factors and literature in the world development, examines major literary movements, writers and works, and provides a new perspective on the history and literature since WWII.
