Chinavillage Writings of Central Asian Donggan Literature

Abstract: Writings about Chinavillage are unique literary landscape in overseas Chinese literature. It's a special answer to the question of how the overseas Chinese people live. Due to cultural and geographical factors, writings about Chinavillage have been created by Donggan writers of central Asia. Homeland space consisting of both original living space and present living space has been constructed in these Donggan literatures. Besides, the time state integrated of multiple circulating time, linear time, and free time has been constructed. Through time and space construction, “the Poetic Dwelling” has been realized by Donggan writers of central Asia. The overseas Chinese writers can approach “the Poetic Dwelling” from three aspects of language, culture and time and space construction.
